Sorta been away from LJ this past week. I've been playing WoW like something possessed because I know once my classes start on the third I'm going to need to seriously cut back on it. My guild killed three new bosses in Black Temple recently (that's the second most difficult raid dungeon).
High Warlord Najentus: As a healer, this fight is like white knuckle from five seconds after we start it right until the very end. No breaks in the constant damage everyone takes, and I always have to be healing. Getting his spine thrown at you sucks.
Supremus: Run from the volcanoes! Phase 2 was hilarious, with everyone running around like decapitated chickens.
Shade of Akama: More like Shade of Lolkama. Easiest boss fight ever. There were a bunch of small guys running in the room that we killed, then the boss became active, and we killed him in less than a minute. Then Prophetman was all, "Wait, was that the boss? Did I miss the boss? Sorry guys I was watching Family Guy..." Yeah.
Anyways, I drove every day of this past week for at least an hour. I have a pretty decent grasp on the concept of it now. I even drove on route one and the VFW parkway (sort of a mini-highway, 45 mph speed limit). I do need more practice in judging distance though. Occasionally I misjudge my turns and my parallel parking is shaky at best. Sometimes I also have a tendency to shuffle my hands as I turn the wheel, instead of going hand over hand like I'm supposed to.
Thank you all for you encouraging comments on my last post, the second time driving wasn't nearly as bad.
