Green. It's almost all green. The smell of new but somehow familiar. Cold, but pleasantly so, fresh. I See it now. Soaring on its wings. My heart feels free while my mind guides. It's all green.

Here's some random feedback from building my own computer:

-Investigate thoroughly what you're buying from different vendors. Often what looks like a good deal is due to the product not coming with standard things (driver disks, manual, cables, etc.)
-Have a technologically gifted friend. This is a must.
-Good google skills will get you far. Know how to search for exactly what you need to fix problems.
-Be fragile, but firm. A lot of parts of the computer require quite a bit of force to install them inside.
-Don't build your own computer if you need a new one fast. This is a process that can be very time consuming over a long period.
-Do research on tech stores in your area. You usually can get a better deal on parts online, but if you only need one last thing you don't want to wait an extra week.

I didn't realize today was JKR's birthday. It's rather fitting that I'm rereading the Harry Potter series again. It's intersting, reading it as an outsider to fandom now. It's nice to enjoy and re-experience the magic that got me into the books in the first place. I'm on Prisoner of Azkaban now.

I'm gonna be getting my new computer soon, I can't wait. It looks like I won't have to spend quite as much money as I thought, which means I'll have more to get a nice monitor. I'm paying ~$450 for a barebones (for the more technically inclined, Dink, my friend helping me, says it's a core 2 duo e8400).

I've been doing little things on my current computer to clean it up so that the transition process is smoother. One of these was finally sorting through my bookmarks. I had about 2000 when I started, and not counting fanfic that I still have to sort I'm down to about 150. Major nostalgia looking at all of the fandom stuff. =(

Work is kicking my ass. Rain is making me lethargic. My brain feels cloudy.

It's a month until I turn 20.

I have the strange urge to draw again.

Lameness is reading your own fanfic because you can't find anything that gives you exactly what you want. Oh Obi-Wan and Anakin, the things you do to me. Even after four years. =(

What the fuck am I doing up at 7 am? I'm pulling a math presentation out of my ass. Adam, I hope you love me, because this is complete bullshit.

I got to talk to my crush yesterday! For like 20 minutes! I can make him laugh very easily (I'm good at that), so I got to see him smile a lot. He's really cute when he smiles. I am content with this remaining innocent. Really.

There is something oddly satisfying about rain.

It still amazes me how finals week can utterly destroy my ideals, my work ethic, my morale, and my sleep schedule.
